A nature abstract in wintry colors – snowy whites, icy and navy blue and the bright turquoise of the winter moods. Water and sky everywhere – a delight to paint and capture its moods, from sunshine sparkle to dramatic icy stillness amid deep shadow and mirror reflections. Ice and frost sparkling in the sunlight, the white frost warmed up with navy blue. A nature abstract in wintry colors – snowy whites, icy blue and the bright turquoise of the winter. Although a barren scene, the colors used give it a warm feeling. The whole scene is harmonized through the use of strong horizontal strokes on the ice.
